What one random, contagious act of kindness will you do today?

My rhetorical analysis project serves to analyze a video from the JUMP, the Journal for Undergraduate Multimedia Projects, that takes a look into the hearts of strangers and the contagious nature of kindness. By interviewing thirty strangers in Philiadelphia, Christopher Cullen looks to give light to an idea by posing the very same question in the headline.

According to Cullen, "the answer our future."

Juxtaposition and Irony serves to describe how the author uses opposing imagery, like good/bad, sad/happy, to explain his intent and also highlights further implications of the video.

Contrast and Ethos argues that the contrasting tones and images provide insight into the author's rhetorical choices regarding the overall lighthearted mood of the piece, yet how even humor can implicate societal ills.

Interview Responses - Good vs. Evil demonstrates how the interviewees responses for good deeds were sometimes incited by the more tragic facts of life.
